Formación requerida: Profesional en Ingenierías, Ciencias Económicas o carreras afines.

Horario: 07:00 a.m. a 05:30 p.m.

Experiencia mínima: 5 años en cargos directivos en el sector financiero, enfocados en desarrollo de productos y liderazgo de equipos.

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced Product Owner. This individual engages with clients to implement technology solutions to drive customer value by determining the requirements of a product/technology, and communicating them clearly to the delivery team and stakeholders. The Product Owner will actively work with clients and internal teams to facilitate discovery sessions to distill key needs and collaborate with strategy, design, engineering, and technology teams to translate those needs into project requirements. The product owner will have experience with clients in discovering, defining, and managing requirements. This is a fast-paced job with room for significant career growth.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner to be considered for this role. Experience with payments and or mobile experience will be a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  • Elicit and organize requirements into a workable backlog.
  • Translate, simplify, and manage business requirements with the client/product owner and write independent user stories leveraging agile frameworks.
  • Facilitate the estimation of user stories along with the delivery team.
  • Facilitate Scrum events while inspiring efficient teamwork and effective decision-making.
  • Communicate efficiently to ensure the backlog is clearly understood by the delivery/scrum team.
  • Handle requirement changes and negotiate prioritization amongst different stakeholders.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience and 5+ years of experience as a product owner, having held the role for the last few years.
  • Experience with payment systems and or the casino gaming industry.
  • Expertise with requirements, estimations, roadmaps, and documentation.
  • Solid understanding of the Scrum Framework and principles of Agility.
  • Deep understanding of software lifecycle development disciplines - Project Management, Requirements Management, Analysis & Design, Quality Assurance & Testing, Implementation, Deployment, Configuration & Change Management.
  • Experience with a variety of facilitation techniques.
  • Understanding of technical practices associated with Software Development (DevOps, CI/CD, test automation).
  • Knows the basics of product management/product thinking.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Initiative and drive to do great things.

¿Estás listo para liderar la evolución de productos digitales innovadores desde la idea hasta su lanzamiento? En EX Squared LATAM , estamos en búsqueda de un apasionado Product Owner que quiera liderar la creación de soluciones SaaS impactantes en entornos ágiles y dinámicos.

Como Product Owner, colaborarás con equipos multifuncionales, traducirás necesidades del negocio en historias de usuario claras y gestionarás todo el ciclo de vida del producto con un enfoque estratégico centrado en el usuario.

Lo que harás
  • Ser el responsable del roadmap del producto y liderar su ejecución de principio a fin.

  • Colaborar con equipos de diseño, desarrollo y atención al cliente para entregar soluciones SaaS funcionales y valiosas.

  • Realizar investigaciones de usuario para descubrir y definir nuevas funcionalidades.

  • Redactar historias de usuario, épicas y criterios de aceptación claros y accionables.

  • Trabajar bajo metodologías ágiles (Scrum, Sprints) asegurando entregas oportunas y de calidad.

  • Definir KPIs y métricas para evaluar el rendimiento de las funcionalidades implementadas.

  • Priorizar mejoras basadas en feedback continuo de usuarios y stakeholders.

Lo que necesitas para tener éxito
  • Experiencia comprobada como Product Owner o Product Manager en productos SaaS B2B.

  • Experiencia previa en proyectos del sector telecomunicaciones (indispensable).

  • Conocimientos técnicos y experiencia trabajando de la mano con equipos de desarrollo.

  • Dominio práctico de todas las etapas del ciclo de vida de un producto.

  • Familiaridad con metodologías ágiles y herramientas como JIRA, Notion, Monday y Miro.

  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación en inglés y español, con enfoque colaborativo.

  • Capacidad analítica y manejo de herramientas de datos (MySQL, Power BI, Google Data Studio).

  • Título universitario en Ingeniería, Ciencias de la Computación o carreras afines.

Sería un plus
  • Certificaciones en Scrum o Agile (por ejemplo, SFPC de CertiProf).

  • Experiencia en metodologías centradas en el usuario (Design Thinking, Design Sprints).

  • Experiencia en procesos de descubrimiento y diseño de producto centrado en el cliente.

The Product Owner is responsible for identifying and managing product requirements, prioritizing engineering team’s work on features and bugs, and supporting feature launch and rollout processes.
He/she holds the vision that will be executed by the agile team. The Product Owner is also responsible for understanding and developing fleshed-out features with product management, working with the engineering team during grooming sessions to translate those features into user stories, and validating the feature before release. He/she has the ability to shape the future of our products through his/her insights, analysis and ability to communicate and realize a vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for one or more of our development Agile teams

  • Create, maintain, prioritize and sequence the team backlog according to business value and existing commitments

  • Work with the Product and User Experience teams to provide detailed guidance and prioritization during the product development process in an Agile environment

  • Assist with the elaboration of Epics, and Features into user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint

  • Assist the product, engineering, and Scrum team during regular ceremonies: feature review, grooming, sprint plans and demos by being the voice of the customer and communicating the value behind each product and prioritization decision

  • Inspect the product progress at the end of every Sprint to accept or reject work done

  • Conduct user acceptance testing on features and bug fixes before they are released, ensuring the high quality of products that are being delivered to customers

  • Communicate to Leadership, Customer Success, Support and other stakeholders rollout plans, feature details and bug status updates

  • Conduct stakeholder product training

  • Maintain compliant product documentation per Ansira standards

  • Make key decisions and judgments on own

  • Mentor other team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or Business

  • At least 5 years of software product experience, preferably in a SaaS environment

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

  • High energy, can-do attitude with willingness to do what it takes to get things done

  • Highly quantitative, analytical and business-minded

  • Ability to solve complex problems in an organized way

  • Extraordinary attention to detail, including ability to anticipate likely outcomes/assess risks

  • Comfortable working closely with Engineering and experience with Agile development teams

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to communicate with senior leadership

Not required, but would be a plus

  • Knowledge of e-commerce, multichannel commerce, online retailing, website user experience, website testing and other marketing strategies

  • Product management experience in an agile environment
