• Profesional:

We are specifically seeking a Senior Backend Developer (100% remote) who can apply best practices that will be a significant part of their daily work. This role also involves taking on responsibilities as a Software Architect, focused on operations and automation.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on skills to streamline and scale processes effectively.

You would be part of the IT Delivery team. We currently have more than 40 colleagues working internationally from home. For us, companionship and enjoyment when doing our work come first. • In 1 month: Get to know the team, main projects and stakeholders with their characteristics and interlocutors. Familiarize yourself with the framework and work technologies. Understand and follow corporate procedures (time entry, vacation requests, communications, .). Start contributing and proposing improvements based on your previous experience and knowledge. You will begin to solve your first incidents, question and propose solutions.
• In 3 months: You will have autonomy and will be working independently with stakeholders and projects. Help your colleagues progress. Contribute to the evolution and improvement of Holafly projects, as well as work methodologies and tools.
• In 6 months: You will be in charge of projects/initiatives appropriate to your expertise and knowledge, interacting with the stakeholders and proposing solutions. At all times you will have the collaboration of your colleagues for any questions you may need. You will continue to evolve technically.

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
• Design and develop high-performance digital services (APIs, automatizations, .) with a focus on maintainability and scalability.
• Help your colleagues with the evolution and deployment of high availability platforms in the cloud.
• Define and implement robust and scalable microservices architectures.

Job Context: Miaki is hiring a passionate and experienced Senior Backend Developer to build robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications. You’ll work with a collaborative team to power the next generation of our gamification platform. If you're highly skilled in Python with Django and FastAPI, and love to work on challenging backend architecture—this is your chance to make an impact!

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Django and FastAPI

Implement new features, resolve bugs, and maintain platform security

Manage production deployments, perform root cause analysis of outages, and ensure uptime

Create scalable and reusable backend architecture following best practices

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications using Docker

Work in Kubernetes-managed environments for deployment and orchestration
