We're searching for a highly skilled SecOps Threat Detection Engineer to join our dynamic security team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and managing advanced SIEM dashboards, searches, and alerts to safeguard our systems in real-time. Key Responsibilities- Develop, optimize, and manage SIEM dashboards, searches, and alerts to identify potential securitythreats in real-time.
- Create and refine custom SIEM use cases, correlation rules, and detection logic to enhance threatvisibility across systems and networks
- Perform threat hunting and analyze log data to proactively identify anomalies and gaps in current usecase library.
- Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and mitigate security incidents, providingdetailed forensic analysis when required.
- Maintain and tune SIEM deployments, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Integrate SIEM with other security tools and data sources to improve detection accuracy andcoverage.
- Stay current on evolving cyber threats, attack techniques, and industry best practices to continuously
improve detection strategies. - Document processes, detection methodologies, and incident findings for knowledge sharing andcompliance purposes.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years focused on SIEM use case development.
- Highly proficient in Splunk Enterprise Security (ES), including SPL (Search Processing Language),dashboard creation, and alert configuration.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, system logs, and security event analysis. - Experience with threat intelligence integration and applying MITRE ATT&CK framework to detection
efforts. - Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation and data analysisis a plus.
- Familiarity with offensive security tactics & techniques such as red teaming and advanced penetrationtesting is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Splunk Certified Power User, Splunk Certified Admin, or cybersecuritycertifications such as OSCP, GPEN, GCIH, GCFE are highly preferred.
- Knowledge of additional SIEM platforms or security tools (e.g., Elastic, QRadar, CrowdStrike).
- Ability to mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative security culture

Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network segmentation, firewall configuration, endpoint security, and zero trust frameworks. - IP Tables/IP Chains: Proficient use of IP Tables and IP Chains for Linux-based security configurations.
- Environment Security: Secure production, development, and QA environments while collaborating with software developers.
- Network Segmentation: Design and implement network segmentation strategies to isolate vulnerabilities and minimize security risks.

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with network segmentation, firewall configurations, and isolation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams across different countries.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive approach to security challenges.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or similar are highly preferred.
- Experience with Zero Trust security models and tools.

- Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable internal security solutions and tools using Python to support security operations and strengthen technical controls
- Improve and manage security configurations in AWS (including WAF, IAM policies, and other critical services) while continuously strengthening our overall cloud security posture and ensuring best practices are implemented
- Optimize, implement, and maintain security processes and technical controls aligned with compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001/27701, SOC 2), supporting audits and internal security assessments

The Product Security Engineer will provide technical leadership in Security across Zonar products. - Be responsible for security design and operations for customer facing and internal Zonar Products
- Provide security recommendations on application/service design, development and deployment to Engineering teams
- “Shift left” security implementing Secure Software Development practices like DevSecOps, Threat Modeling, Secure Coding, etc
- Identify, detect and remediate security risks in Zonar Products and Google Cloud
- Monitor security advisories from vendors, government agencies, etc recommending and implementing threat remediation where necessary
- Respond to Customer requests for security details on Zonar’s various products

Canonical is building a team dedicated to providing security coverage across a wide range of ecosystems and environments, working to make the world a better, safer place. We are hiring an Ubuntu Security Engineer to join an industry-leading security engineering team and help protect the open source community and Ubuntu users from emerging threats. We are looking for candidates across all levels of experience, from Graduate to Senior.
As part of the Ubuntu Security Team, you will work with some of the best and brightest people in technology to monitor, triage, respond to, and document new and existing vulnerabilities in open source software. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify issues, prioritize them, and coordinate remediation.
This is an engineering-focused role that may also involve activities such as producing security assessments, building features, conducting code reviews, developing internal tools, engaging with the open source community, and participating in industry initiatives and events.
This role requires international travel at least twice a year, usually for one week. It also requires the ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation.
Location: Worldwide, this is a globally remote role
The role entails
- Analyzing, fixing, and testing vulnerabilities in open source packages
- Keeping track of vulnerabilities in the Ubuntu ecosystem as they are discovered, researched, and fixed, leveraging internal tools
- Collaborating with other teams in the Ubuntu community and upstream developers, as needed, to exchange or develop vulnerability patches and ensure that Ubuntu includes the most robust security features
- Auditing source code for vulnerabilities
- Building features and tools to help teams strengthen the security of their products and contribute to the overall security of Ubuntu
- You have a thorough understanding of the common categories of security vulnerabilities and techniques for fixing them
- You are familiar with coordinated disclosure practices
- You are familiar with open source development tools and methodologies
- You are skilled in one or more of C, Python, Go, Rust, Java, Ruby, PHP or JavaScript/TypeScript
- You have excellent logic, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
- You can clearly and effectively communicate with the team and Ubuntu community members
- Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability

Tus funcionesApoyar la implementación de Micro-Segmentación
Revisar regularmente las reglas de firewall para garantizar el cumplimiento de las políticas de seguridad.
Gestionar la carga de trabajo de forma eficiente y equilibrada.
Proponer mejoras arquitectónicas o de herramientas basadas en la experiencia diaria.
Asesorar a los equipos de IT en buenas prácticas de seguridad.
Evaluar infraestructuras y aplicaciones para asegurar el cumplimiento de los principios de seguridad a nivel de aplicación, red e inter/intra DMZs.
Administrar firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto): implementación de políticas, mantenimiento diario, revisión de reglas y soporte en incidentes.
Participar en auditorías internas y externas.
Mantenerse actualizado sobre nuevas tendencias y tecnologías en el ámbito de la seguridad.
Conocimiento sólido en Micro-Segmentación
Experiencia con suites de firewall: Checkpoint, Fortinet y Palo Alto (gestor y firewall).
Conocimientos avanzados de TCP/IP, LAN, WAN y principios de seguridad en redes.
Experiencia probada en buenas prácticas de seguridad y análisis de amenazas/vulnerabilidades.
Se valorarán certificaciones en tecnologías de seguridad.
Experiencia de 3 a 5 años en entornos de infraestructura IT.
Deseable: conocimientos en sistemas Unix (ej. RedHat) y Windows, WAF, IPS y scripting.
Inglés fluido

What You’ll Be Doing
Looking to use your expertise to protect and strengthen mission-critical systems and applications? In this role, you’ll lead efforts to secure new and existing applications by assessing risks, developing mitigation strategies, and embedding security best practices throughout the SDLC.
You Will
- Lead security assessments and code reviews across web, mobile, cloud, and on-prem applications.
- Guide development teams on secure coding practices and implement effective security controls.
- Evaluate threats, conduct risk assessments, and define mitigation strategies.
- Maintain documentation on architecture, incident response, and security procedures.
- Stay current on emerging threats and support incident response efforts when needed.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and manage remediation processes.
- Use tools like SAST, DAST, and IAST to continuously monitor application security.
- Collaborate with DevOps to embed security in CI/CD pipelines.
- Deliver security training to developers and internal teams.
- Participate in cloud security reviews (AWS, Azure, GCP) and recommend improvements.
- Provide guidance on automation opportunities using Python, Java, or C#.
- Serve as a security advisor across global business units and support planning of key security initiatives.
- Clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across cultures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application security (cloud and on-premise).
- Experience with penetration testing, risk assessments, and vulnerability management.
- Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10 and mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Java, or C#).
- Familiarity with security testing tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication skills with global and cross-functional collaboration experience.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or CEH are a plus.
