Job Description

  • Oversee the execution of all back-office processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Evaluate agent performance, providing constructive feedback and engaging training to enhance skills.
  • Contribute to quality control (QC) initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving effective solutions.
  • Take on project officer responsibilities, managing specific tasks to support operational goals.
  • Identify and escalate issues, non-conformities, or near-misses to ensure swift resolution.
  • Coach agents on handling challenging cases and complaints, promoting best practices.
  • Analyze performance data, uncover insights, and share actionable findings with the team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform other lawful tasks assigned by his/her manager.
  • Adhere to the work schedule.
  • Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company.
  • Adhere to the non-disclosure agreement.
  • Ensure all previously set targets are met.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Know Your Customer (KYC) processes is essential.

Quien se encargará de realizar inspecciones periódicas en las embarcaciones para verificar condiciones estructurales, de maquinaria, documentación, equipos y sistemas en general, conforme a los procedimientos de la empresa y requisitos legales.

Funciones

  • Inspeccionar periódicamente las embarcaciones de la flota conforme al procedimiento, identificando posibles pendientes con el fin de mantener un estándar mínimo de mantenimiento y operación.
  • Elaborar informes de inspección claros, con fundamentos técnicos y conforme a las normas de las autoridades marítimas.
  • Difundir los conocimientos técnicos y experiencias de otras sucursales, con el objetivo de reducir las recurrencias de fallas.
  • Analizar la capacitación técnica de la tripulación durante las inspecciones.
  • Aprobar los certificados de calibración mediante el análisis crítico de los resultados.
  • Proveer soporte técnico a la sección de suministros y a las sucursales cuando existan dudas de carácter técnico.
  • Ser miembro activo del equipo de investigación de incidentes, con base en la metodología ICAM, elaborando un informe consistente con un plan de acción y análisis de causa raíz para evitar reincidencias.
  • Realizar análisis de fallas o defectos en los equipos.
  • Brindar soporte al personal de medio ambiente en el control y orientación de los supervisores de las sucursales en relación con la política ambiental y las estrategias de sostenibilidad de la empresa.

Requisitos

  • Título universitario completo, preferentemente como oficial de máquinas de la marina mercante, ingeniero mecánico, electricista, o naval.
  • 15 años de experiencia como Superintendente de Mantenimiento, Ingeniero de Puerto, Supervisor de Mantenimiento, Jefe de Mantenimiento, Jefe de Máquinas, Inspector de clase o Auditor interno.
  • Conocimientos en sistemas de mantenimiento planificado, deseables.

Role : The Quality Assurance Specialist reports to Senior Director, LATAM Architecture & Systems Integration and works closely with a diverse team consisting of a Project Manager, Quality Assurance Specialists, Quality Assurance Automation Specialists, System Integrators, Developers, Functional Developers, as well as Business Analysts.

Your Day with Equisoft:

  • Review specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverable

  • Collaborate in an Agile environment along with a dynamic team composed of software developers, architects, and project managers
  • Take ownership of Quality at every stage of the delivery process

Requirements:

Technical

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information Technology
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for QA processes
  • Test management tools such as TESTRAIL, AIO Tests
  • Work management tools such as JIRA
  • Experience with Quality Assurance processes
  • Knowledge of financial and/or insurance industries is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of relational databases and scripting automated tests (SQL, SoapUI, Selenium, Neoload C#, Java)
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Macros programming
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of PRIMO’s platforms by leading functional, integration, and regression testing processes. 1. Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for PRIMO’s transportation management platform and other internal applications.

2. Collaborate with product owners and developers to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to build comprehensive automated test plans.

3. Develop and expand automated test frameworks for front-end (UI) and back-end (API/integration) testing.

4. Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.

5. Monitor test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve defects quickly and effectively.

6. Lead initiatives to improve automation coverage, testing reliability, and execution efficiency.

Required Skills, Education & Experience

What Will You Do?

THE ROLE

This is a remote-friendly position open to candidates in Latin America. This will be hired as an independent contractor position, where you’d be responsible for taxes in your country. The role will work 9am-5pm EST, 40 hours a week (M-Fri).

We’re looking for a QA Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts across our organization. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality software and building strong practices across product and engineering teams. You’ll work closely with team leads and product managers to sign off on releases, manage a team of QA Testers to be quality stewards of our web and mobile applications, and work with QA Automation engineers to grow our end-to-end test suite.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Own and evolve the QA strategy, tools, and processes across the product suite
  • Manage and grow a global distributed team of QA engineers (manual and/or automated testers)
  • Collaborate with the engineering team leads to define quality standards and sign-off criteria for releases
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews
  • Coordinate testing activities across teams to ensure coverage, reliability, and regression safety
  • Create and enforce test plans and test cases for new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements
  • Drive the implementation of automated testing and CI/CD integration where applicable
  • Maintain visibility into test coverage, release readiness, and quality metrics for leadership
  • Serve as the final checkpoint for QA sign-off before code is deployed to production
  • Partner with Support and Customer Success teams to triage bugs and improve issue resolution workflows

THE MUST-HAVES

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a QA leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage QA for fast-moving SaaS or product engineering teams
  • Experience working closely with engineering team leads and product managers
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies (manual and automated)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Leverage AI and LLM tools to generate comprehensive test cases and identify potential edge cases
  • Develop, document, and maintain clear and concise functional test plans and test cases
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
  • Conduct a range of functional, integration, regression and performance tests
  • Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
  • Liaison with development, project management, and customer on quality and project scope and deliverables
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and communicate through appropriate channels
  • Participate in key ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment along with a dynamic team composed of software developers, architects, and project managers

Requirements:

Technical

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or information Technology
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for QA processes
  • Test management tools such as TESTRAIL, AIO Tests
  • Work management tools such as JIRA
  • Experience with Quality Assurance processes
  • Knowledge of financial and/or insurance industries is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of relational databases and scripting automated tests (SQL, SoapUI, Selenium, Neoload C#, Java)
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Macros programming
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Role : The Quality Assurance Specialist reports to Senior Director, LATAM Architecture & Systems Integration and works closely with a diverse team consisting of a Project Manager, Quality Assurance Specialists, Quality Assurance Automation Specialists, System Integrators, Developers, Functional Developers, as well as Business Analysts.

Your Day with Equisoft:
