Your Role

As a Site Engineer, you will:

• Ensure site works comply with contract specs, quality, and safety standards.
• Prepare material submittals and track approvals.
• Develop method statements and risk assessments.
• Monitor procurement schedules and follow up on deliveries.
• Control approved drawings and as-built documentation.
• Inspect works, raise inspection requests, and coordinate with site teams.
• Report progress, delays, and site issues to senior management.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project close-out documentation.
• This role is full time and follows a Monday to Saturday work week, typical for project-based positions in our industry

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of project site experience, ideally within construction or Data Center Solutions environments.
• Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical) with ≥ 10 years’ site experience.
• Solid understanding of contract specifications, QA/QC, HSE and programme controls.
• Proven ability to manage materials, documentation and productivity on fast-track projects.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and pressure-handling skills; proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with BIM-enabled field tools or Lean construction principles.

Purpose

The ideal candidate will be a Professional Engineer with experience in Engineering and Wireless Telecom. This role involves the structural engineering design of wireless communication projects, including new and existing building structures, non-building structures, and non-structural components. Responsibilities include preparing formal reports, calculations, and analyses, determining structural requirements with project design team members, clients, contractors, building officials, and other consultants. The candidate will also provide quality control review of engineering services performed by other engineers.

Functions

• Perform structural and mount analysis and design for existing and new building structures, non-building structures, and non-structural equipment, including their respective anchorage, foundation elements, and mount design.Design modifications for tower reinforcing, extensions, and foundations.
• Coordinate structural design requirements with A&E Project Managers, Drafters, Senior Engineers, Clients, Building Officials, Contractors, and other External Consultants.
• Prepare engineering reports and documents communicating engineering results.
• Review Quality Assurance - Quality Control (QA-QC) and final review on structural analysis reports and drawings.
• Assist with construction administration activities, including field surveys and shop drawing or RFI coordination.
• Perform site visits and prepare field reports to document existing site conditions.
• Answer structure-related inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Coordinate with building officials and other jurisdictional entities to demonstrate code compliance for obtaining all required building permits and governmental approvals.
• Adhere to all federal, state, local, and company safety requirements.
• Domestic and International travel as required.

Qualifications

• Preparar informes de ingeniería y documentos que comuniquen los resultados de ingeniería.
• Revisar la Garantía de Calidad - Control de Calidad (QA-QC) y la revisión final de los informes y planos de análisis estructural.
• Ayudar en las actividades de administración de la construcción, incluidos los estudios de campo y la coordinación de planos de taller o RFI.
• Realizar visitas sobre el terreno y preparar informes de campo para documentar las condiciones existentes.
• Responder a las preguntas sobre estructuras de clientes internos y externos.
• Coordinarse con los funcionarios de la construcción y otras entidades jurisdiccionales para demostrar el cumplimiento de los códigos a fin de obtener todos los permisos de construcción y aprobaciones gubernamentales necesarios.Cumplir todos los requisitos de seguridad federales, estatales, locales y de la empresa.
• Viajes nacionales e internacionales según sea necesario.

Requerimientos

• De 3 a 5 años de experiencia en ingeniería estructural en telecomunicaciones inalámbricas o torres de radiodifusión.
• Licencia P.E. con la capacidad de obtener la licencia multiestatal según se requiera.
• Se valorará positivamente la licencia de ingeniería civil o estructural.
• Habilidades de comunicación y documentación técnica.
• Capacidad de organizar y priorizar tareas para cumplir los plazos.
• Autonomía y capacidad para trabajar con eficacia de forma independiente o como parte de un grupo, utilizando los recursos necesarios para completar con éxito las tareas de ingeniería.
• Conocimiento de códigos y especificaciones: IBC, TIA-222, ASCE, etc.
• Dominio de los programas informáticos de ingeniería habituales: tnxTower, Risa 3D, mathcad y Enercalc.
• Experiencia en el desarrollo de documentos de construcción y en la realización de Análisis de Montaje y Análisis o Evaluaciones Estructurales para Monopostes, torres, tanques, edificios, etc.
• Capacidad para gestionar múltiples proyectos.
• Familiaridad con el software de dibujo/modelado AutoCAD preferiblemente.
• Conocimiento de los principios de diseño de ingeniería con diversos materiales como acero, hormigón, madera y mampostería, y de las guías y normas de diseño aplicables.
• Se valorará la familiaridad o experiencia con los procesos de fabricación en taller de acero y/o el conocimiento de las herramientas y capacidades del taller de fabricación.
• Competencia en el uso de productos de Microsoft Suite como MS Word, Excel, Teams y Outlook.
• Capacidad para trabajar en equipo con personas de distintas oficios y disciplinas en todas las fases del diseño.
• Conocimiento de las prácticas y principios de la construcción.
• Capacidad de comunicación escrita y verbal profesional.
• Capacidad para viajar hasta un 10%.

• Hydrology and hydraulics experience is a plus.

**Job Description**
AECOM's Enterprise Capabilities team has an immediate opportunity available for a Sr Civil Engineer - Hydraulics & Plumbing for employment in Bogota, Colombia.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Lead the design and development of foul drainage systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
+ Design and optimize hot and cold water piping systems for large-scale infrastructure and building projects.
+ Design pumped drainage systems, rainwater drainage, and rainwater harvesting systems.
+ Design and integrate greywater recycling systems into existing and new infrastructure projects.
+ Design sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) to enhance environmental performance and sustainability.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure hydraulic designs are integrated seamlessly into overall project plans.
+ Prepare and present detailed technical reports and design documentation to stakeholders.
+ Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Experience in hydraulic engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects and large surface buildings.
+ Proficiency in software such as EPANET, Revit MEP, or similar tools .
+ Strong understanding of local and international plumbing and drainage standards.
+ Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Preferably 8 years of experience
+ Master's degree in a related field.
+ Experience with sustainable design practices and technologies.
+ Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
+ Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing engineering teams.
