Group Head of Supply Chain - Madrid / Barcelona
A dynamic and expanding international pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and optimize its global supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster cross-functional collaboration to support the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the supply chain strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
- Lead a diverse team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, production scheduling, logistics, and customer service.
- Drive cost optimization, process efficiencies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance.
- Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate cost-effective sourcing agreements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including GMP and GDP.
- Minimum 10 years of management experience in the pharmaceutical sector , including a customer-facing role with big pharma clients .
- Background in CDMO / B2B pharma generics or biologics.
- Expertise in sourcing, production scheduling, planning, launches, and warehouse management .
- Proven ability to lead large teams (15+ people) and grow/develop team leaders.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and KPIs (on-time delivery, inventory turnover, transportation costs).
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) preferred.
- Languages: Proficiency in English required. Spanish highly valued but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally.

Logistics & Inventory Planning
- Coordinate ingredient orders (hops, barley, yeast) across multiple regions and distributors.

- Collaborate with accounting/bookkeeping to ensure accurate tracking.

Job Title: Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) Lead Consultant
Reports to: President
Work Location/Travel: Remote within Colombia or on-site at client locations. Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for client engagements.
Job Summary:
We’re seeking driven and passionate professionals to join our growing team in Colombia. You’ll collaborate with global experts on cutting-edge projects, deliver tailored solutions for clients, and play a key role in establishing Apex IT’s footprint in LatAm. As an Oracle Cloud SCM Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions (Order Management, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Planning Central, Global Order Promising, Sourcing Cloud, Product Data Hub, Procurement, Inventory & Costing). Your primary focus will be on helping clients enhance their supply chain processes using Oracle Cloud SCM technology.
Essential Functions:
•Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and supply chain processes. Analyze functional and technical requirements for Oracle Cloud SCM implementation.
•Design and customize Oracle Cloud SCM modules, with focus on Procurement, Receiving, Order Management, Inventory, and Costing
•Lead or support the implementation of Oracle Cloud SCM projects. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and assist with data migration and system customization as needed.
•Develop and execute test scenarios to validate the functionality and performance of the Oracle Cloud SCM applications. Identify and resolve any issues or gaps in the implemented solution.
•Provide comprehensive training to end-users on Oracle Cloud SCM modules and functionality. Offer post-implementation support to address user queries and resolve any issues that arise.
•Evaluate and optimize clients' supply chain processes by leveraging Oracle Cloud SCM capabilities. Identify opportunities for streamlining operations, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
•Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user guides. Generate regular reports to track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
•Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. Effectively communicate project status and address any concerns or challenges.

The role may be performed remotely or on-site at a client location, depending on project requirements. A reliable and high-speed internet connection is essential to ensure smooth communication and productivity.

Required Education and Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science - related field or commensurate experience required.
•At least 3 years of related experience required.
•Hands-on experience implementing Oracle Cloud SCM solutions, with expertise in Procurement, Receiving, Order Management, Inventory, and Costing
•In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, best practices, and industry trends.
•Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud SCM functionality, configuration, and integration capabilities.
•Proficiency in requirements analysis, solution design, and system configuration.
