Overview

You’ll Do
  • Own channel strategy & roadmap for LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, and Reddit—set goals, benchmarks, and posting cadence per platform.

You Have
  • 3–5+ years growing B2B social channels (SaaS and/or real estate/proptech a plus).
  • A creator’s toolkit: copywriting, short-form video editing, basic graphic design, and story packaging across LinkedIn/X/IG/Reddit.
  • Proven track record turning organic social into qualified meetings (case studies or portfolio welcome).
  • Comfort operating as a team of one—from strategy to shipping—and knowing when to pull in freelancers.
  • Strong analytics chops (UTMs, dashboards, channel KPIs) and a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Familiarity with fraud/cybersecurity/data-security topics—or the curiosity to ramp quickly with industry nuance.

Role overview

We are looking for a Social Media Manager with a creative, strategic mindset and a strong connection to Colombia’s digital culture. This role will lead, optimize, and scale Betano’s organic social media strategy in Colombia, aligned with the global brand identity.   • Light vendor management (as needed): brief and manage freelancers for overflow design/video; uphold timelines and quality.
  • Brand stewardship: maintain an educational, friendly, thought-leader voice with clear guardrails; ensure claims are accurate and compliant.
  • Social listening: monitor conversations on listing fraud, squatting scams, data/privacy issues, and policy trends; surface insights for marketing & product.

You Have

  • 3–5+ years growing B2B social channels (SaaS and/or real estate/proptech a plus).
  • A creator’s toolkit: copywriting, short-form video editing, basic graphic design, and story packaging across LinkedIn/X/IG/Reddit.
  • Proven track record turning organic social into qualified meetings (case studies or portfolio welcome).
  • Comfort operating as a team of one—from strategy to shipping—and knowing when to pull in freelancers.
  • Strong analytics chops (UTMs, dashboards, channel KPIs) and a test-and-learn mindset.
  • Familiarity with fraud/cybersecurity/data-security topics—or the curiosity to ramp quickly with industry nuance.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building Reddit communities and running AMAs or expert threads.
  • Knowledge of SFR/multifamily/MLS ecosystems and their decision makers.
  • Webinar clipping and motion graphics fundamentals.

Tools & Environment

  • You choose the stack (we’ll provision what you need): social scheduling/analytics, lightweight design (Figma/Canva), and video editing (CapCut/Premiere).
  • Access to freelancers when necessary; expectation is you create most content yourself.

  • Reports to the CEO.

Job Description: Social Media Manager

We’re looking for a creative, independent thinker with a deep understanding of Instagram and social media trends. You’ll be responsible for managing the social presence of five brands, with a strong focus on aesthetics and reel editing. The ideal candidate will be able to create visually appealing, creative daily Instagram Stories and well-edited, sharp reels using the content we have, while ensuring a sleek, modern aesthetic that resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create visually captivating, daily Instagram Stories and reels that align with our sleek, minimalistic brand aesthetic
  • Edit sharp, engaging reels, using the right fonts for text to enhance storytelling and match the brand’s voice
  • Have a strong focus on aesthetics—selecting and pairing fonts, aligning text, and using lowercase text to create a clean, minimal look
  • Use Canva and CapCut (required) for content creation; proficiency in Premiere Pro and Lightroom is a plus
  • Edit videos and photos with advanced creativity and organization, ensuring high-quality output
  • Write engaging, witty, and emotionally resonant captions that reflect the brand’s voice and support visual storytelling
  • Manage and engage with the community by interacting with similar brands, answering DMs, and responding to comments in line with the brand’s tone
  • Use tools like ClickUp, Notion (preferred), or Airtable to manage multiple projects efficiently
  • Spend at least 15 minutes daily engaging with the audience to foster a relatable and socially intelligent brand presence
  • Use creative strategies like Q&A sessions, quizzes, and other interactive tools to build community engagement
  • Stay current with Instagram algorithms and analytics to maximize content reach and growth

Proficiency in Canva and CapCut (required); Premiere Pro and Lightroom (preferred but optional).

Strong video/photo editing skills with a keen eye for creative storytelling through Instagram reels and stories.

Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp, Notion, or Airtable.
