Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Conversational English (B2 or higher).
• 4–6 years of proven experience in Data Quality, Data Transformation, and Data Processing.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, including but not limited to ingestion, data flows, monitoring, machine learning services, database services, and storage services.
• Experience with Python and advanced SQL.
• Strong knowledge of various databases, including MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
• Solid hands-on experience implementing and optimizing ETL pipelines.
• Availability to occasionally work extended hours (nights and/or weekends).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Analyze and troubleshoot integration-related issues, providing technical support and ensuring timely incident resolution.
• Perform thorough testing to ensure integrations work correctly and without errors before production deployment.
• Ensure all data integrations comply with applicable security standards and regulations, protecting sensitive and confidential data.

We’re looking for a talented remote Senior Informatica ETL Developer with 3+ years of experience in Informatica ETL development, and experience in relational database development to join our team.

The customer is a private American company that specializes in network-enabled services for healthcare and point-of-care mobile apps in the United States.

The company is building data pipelines from two dozen corporate systems deployed in AWS. The customer created Business Intelligence Center of Excellence to help other data analytics teams with ETL, data cleansing, data modeling, visualization, and dashboards.

The ideal candidate is a Data Engineer with very strong data processing expertise in the use of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools, specifically Informatica.

The team is responsible for integrating Enterprise application data, populating cloud-based Data Lake, providing curated and noncurated data assets for analytical use to cross-functional teams. The team works cross-functionally across the business with stakeholders to provide support, guidance, and technical implementations where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support new and existing ETL programs of various complexity
• Write, debug, and deploy code to production; deliver timely fixes
• Work with stakeholders to understand and analyze new requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT or related field of study or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of Informatica ETL development experience (PowerCenter and Cloud)
• 3+ years of experience in relational database development (SQL Server, Oracle)
• 2+ years of experience working with Web Services (REST, SOAP) and API’s
• Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
