Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced IT Manager to drive Nue.io's IT infrastructure, security, and operations. This role will focus on delivering a seamless and secure IT environment that supports our business goals and enhances our operational efficiency. As a hands-on contributor, you will be directly involved in the implementation and maintenance of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the IT strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business needs and goals.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including cloud services, network architecture, and data storage solutions.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, network security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Administer and manage Salesforce, ensuring its optimal performance and integration with other systems.
  • Implement and manage email security solutions to protect against threats and ensure secure communication.
  • Run and manage a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) to ensure secure access to cloud services and data.
  • Manage IT subscriptions, expenses, and overall IT budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance business operations.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in IT management and security.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for the software development team.
  • Drive technical excellence and implementation of best IT practices such as continuous integration, disaster recovery planning, and IT service management.
  • Act as a hands-on contributor, directly involved in the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Work comfortably with a globally remote team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across different time zones.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience of 3+ years in an IT infrastructure management, data security, and network architecture role.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn and adapt.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

IT Manager

As an IT Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department while ensuring the security and integrity of the betting system. This role combines the responsibilities of managing IT infrastructure, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. As an IT Manager, your role will cover a wide range of responsibilities, including:

1. Security Framework Implementation:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage the security framework for the betting system to prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
  2. Continuously monitor and update security protocols to address emerging threats.
  3. Liaise with global counterparts that will assist with guidance on policy and security program development.

2. Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing:

  1. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks.
  2. Work with a global team to coordinate testing and bug bounty activities.
  3. Analyze assessment results and implement necessary security measures.

3. Incident Protocol Implementation:

  1. Develop and implement an incident protocol outlining the steps to be taken in case of security breaches.
  2. Coordinate incident response efforts and ensure timely resolution of security incidents.

4. Regulatory Compliance:

  1. Liaise with the Compliance Officer to ensure the betting system complies with rules and requirements.
  2. Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the betting system’s security measures are in compliance.

5. IT Operations Management:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including supporting user devices such as laptops, server and network maintenance, and user support (including onboarding and offboarding).
  2. Work with global counterparts to ensure the local IT infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.

6. Project Management:

  1. Manage IT and security projects from inception to completion.
  2. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

7. Stakeholder Communication:

  1. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, locally and globally, including senior management, to provide updates on IT operations and security status.
  2. Prepare and present reports on IT and security performance.

Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient in English and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT operations management between 8 and 10 years.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, vulnerability assessments, and secure software development practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with compliance officers and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to betting systems.

Job Profile Summary

Assistant Manager – Responsible for ensuring all critical functions happen within the organization including supervision of other system analysts, site computer technicians, and other employees within the Technology department. This position is also responsible in assisting with the design and build of enterprise components for deployment, based upon client or management specifications.

Assistant Manager will work on-site and is responsible to supervise the day-to-day tasks from the global desktop support team, they will be the first point of contact for escalations, Client requirements and implementations and will also support on during major incidents, on site requirements, maintenance and troubleshooting sessions with client and other support groups.

Job Responsibilities:

  • • Administration of Exchange, remote access technologies, Microsoft Active Directory domain administration and support, including user/policy account creation, permissions allocation, resolving replication and authentication issues, creating file and print shares.
  • Support enterprise backup solutions, including application administration and troubleshooting hardware-related issues.
  • Determine proper installation parameters for software and hardware, for smooth integration, transition, and efficiency.
  • Proactively analyze, detect, identify, and correct technical problems and deficiencies providing feasible solutions.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports including but not limited to forecast and budget for Directors and analyze department costs.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets
  • Provide 24x7 on call production support.
  • Perform at/above the enterprise’s Information Technology organization performance standards, meet, or exceed departmental metrics and/or Service Level Goals

Knowledge:

  • B2+ or C1 English level (Fluent speaking and Writing)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years technology experience with at least 2 years hands-on technical roles in the field and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications, networking, and user support.
  • Good working knowledge skills with O365 Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes.
  • Proven ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high-pressure on-call environment with changing priorities.
  • Experience with supervising an IT support team.
  • Desired certifications include but not limited to: A+ Certification, MCSE, CCNA
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Networking principles such as DNS, WINS, DHCP
  • Working knowledge of Cisco based routing and switching.

A Day in the Life As a Program Manager at Medtronic focusing on Global IT Portfolio process and product management, this role encompasses a strategic approach to both optimizing processes and overseeing product development. You would be responsible for developing and implementing standardized processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across various projects. This involves continuously seeking opportunities for optimization while establishing quality control measures to ensure that products meet industry standards and customer expectations. Compliance is a crucial aspect, requiring you to ensure that all processes adhere to regulatory and company standards.

This role also involves overseeing project timelines and budgets, making necessary adjustments to address any deviations and proactively identifying risks related to product and process management to develop effective mitigation strategies. Maintaining open communication with cross-functional stakeholders is key, providing updates on developments and gathering feedback to ensure alignment with process and product goals. This specialized focus ensures that processes and products are efficient, compliant, and aligned with customer needs and business objectives. This will be a hybrid model position based in Bogotá.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Process Management:

  • Define, document, and standardize workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and clarity in matrixed roles and responsibilities.
  • Identify inefficiencies, propose and implement changes, and foster continuous improvement using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Set measurable KPIs, monitor and report on process and product performance, ensuring alignment with objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Address process & product issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Own the process, conduct audits, foster accountability, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate across teams, manage relationships, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and align priorities
  • Gather stakeholder feedback, analyze pain points, and ensure products deliver great user experiences, while sharing industry trends and best practices
  • Act as the primary point of contact for function stakeholders regarding product features and priorities
  • Develop Communications to keep stakeholders informed

Product Management:

  • Participate in roadmap planning, prioritize features, collaborate with teams to develop and launch products, and ensure functionality aligns with user needs
  • Ensure tools and reporting meet Global IT Portfolio, Program, and Project operational needs
  • Work with the product team to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Accept or reject completed function’s user stories based on acceptance criteria

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Five years of experience in program management and project execution
  • Experience in full project lifecycle and a minimum of 1 complex projects of more than 2-year duration
  • Fluent in English
  • Proven knowledge of developing and implementing strategic goals
  • Project Portfolio Management; business case development experience and knowledge in Planiswareis advantageous
