Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience in PL/SQL Oracle development.
• Good knowledge in SQL / PL/SQL , ability to finetune the query, and debugging capabilities in SQL procedures and functions.

This is a remote contract role for a Senior Oracle &SQL Database Administrator. The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and overseeing Oracle & SQL databases, ensuring their stability, performance, and security. Day-to-day tasks include performing database replication, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining database security best practices.

About the Opportunity:

Our client is a hypergrowth SaaS company preparing for IPO and expanding its global engineering footprint. As part of this growth, they are building a brand-new technology team in Medellín, Colombia, and are looking for top-tier Oracle Engineers to join this strategic initiative.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and support complex Oracle-based systems with a strong emphasis on Oracle Fusion applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement and manage Oracle solutions in alignment with best practices and security standards
• Support data architecture initiatives and contribute to database automation efforts
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a fast-paced environment

The Ideal Professional Will Have:

• 2+ years of experience as an Oracle Engineer or similar role, with proven expertise in Oracle Fusion
• Deep knowledge in Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c), PL/SQL, and performance tuning

• 10+ years of Oracle Apps DBA experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
