Requisitos

Minimum Qualifications
- Consistent with the role, have strong architectural skills and ability to design scalable, available, resilient and cost-effective applications in the cloud (preferably AWS). The candidate should have the ability to pick out the right tech stack and tools for the problem to be solved
- Strong technical expertise in building Restful microservices using Node.js with an appropriate data store suited to the problem at hand (should be comfortable with both Relational and NoSQL databases)
- Technical expertise in building UI using React
- Good knowledge of API security and data encryption
- Strong DevOps and Quality mindset with design and implementation experience in the areas of CI/CD, Observability and Test automation

Welcome to the Proactive Messaging team at LivePerson! We are a team of 4 engineers located across 2 countries (India and Germany).
We are looking for a Software Engineer (SDE I) (all genders) to join our team. You will work in a fast-paced environment on projects spanning different company areas, aiming to enhance and simplify how brands engage with their customers through messaging.

- Leverage your NodeJS knowledge to enhance new features, maintain platform stability, and drive continuous technical excellence.
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Maintain services using RESTful API conventions and a microservices approach.
- Debug production issues and help maintain existing code.
- Implement internal process improvements, including automating manual tasks and optimizing data flows and infrastructure for scalability and stability.
- Collaborate with engineers, engineering managers, and stakeholders to ensure valuable contributions and refine product features.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2 - 3 years of experience with Node.js, primarily using Express.js.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed microservices architecture.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Proficient in using tools such as GitLab CI, FluxCD, NPM, and Linting.
- Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using Mocha, Chai.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Angular UI development.
