About The Role
Play a lead role in working with the customer team to translate their business requirements into a solution design supported by the base solution. The Senior Consultant is expected to participate actively in customer projects including implementations and installed base enhancement engagements with a strong desire for results and quality delivery. The Senior Consultant will provide direction and subject matter expertise to the customer project team, as well as the ability to configure the solution to meet the customer and project requirements. Senior Consultants will conduct analysis of business and technical requirements, project objectives, performing fit and gap analysis, and provide recommendations to customer based on collaboration with the internal development teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Facilitate and lead design sessions with ToolsGroup and customer teams of up to 25 people, providing best practice recommendations regarding achieving identified business challenges using the Software.
- Consult with customer team to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
- Document correspondence, decisions, and other communications with customer and internal stakeholders.
- Work with Project Manager to develop a project plan, budget, scope, charter and assist with managing of project scope and open issues.
- Act as a liaison between customer power-users / SMEs, technical/information technology analysts, and technical resources in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of system to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Develop the business solution design document according to ToolsGroup standards.
- Define data requirements and provide data analysis.
- Conduct analysis of current planning processes
- Configure and parametrize the software application
- Support customer validation of software inputs, outputs and configuration results.
- Create customer reports when required.
- Present results of model analytics and provide customer with recommendations for improving business results in accordance with project objectives.
- Drive internal functional testing.
- Advisor for customer business driven UAT scenario creation activity.
- Support end-to-end and user acceptance testing and testing of new functionality.
- Provide training, mentoring, and coaching of customer business staff.
- Develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions.
- Provide post-project support, answering and solving technical support inquiries when needed and escalate when necessary.
- Support continuous process improvements of the PS department through internal initiatives
Requirements
- Currently most project work is done remotely. Applicant must have ability to work remotely from home, but be willing to travel with travel requirements potentially increasing up to % in the future.
- 3-6 years supply chain experience in a planning or consulting capacity.
- Knowledge of ERP and/or supply chain planning systems.
- Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting, inventory management and replenishment planning functions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - both written and oral, including strong presentation skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork, analytical skills, creativity and willingness to acquire new skills.
- Customer Service Driven and a Strong business acumen.
- Experience working with customer's business teams.
- Supply Chain software experience – either working for a software company or implementing a major business software package as a consultant or as a customer.
- Strong working knowledge SQL and stored procedures; of MS T-SQL analytical knowledge.
- Ability to build, test and deploy basic code.
- Understanding of Statistics and Machine Learning practical applications.
- Strong project management and organization skills – ability to put together a project plan and manage a project and budget.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Education – minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.

JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for managing all procurement activities and travel logistics in support of the organization's operations in Colombia. This role ensures that goods and services are procured in compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements, while also overseeing efficient, cost-effective, and timely travel arrangements for staff and visitors. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external vendors.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement
• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to delivery, ensuring adherence to organizational and donor regulations.
• Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs), evaluate bids, and select suppliers based on transparent and competitive processes.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms with vendors to ensure value for money.
• Maintain an up-to-date supplier database, ensuring regular vendor performance evaluations.
• Track and manage purchase orders, deliveries, and payments, ensuring timely completion.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all procurement-related records.
Logistics
• Oversee all travel arrangements for staff and visitors, including flights, ground transportation, accommodation, and visas.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and other events as required.
• Manage vehicle bookings, driver schedules, and related transportation logistics.
• Ensure that travel and logistics activities are planned efficiently to optimize cost and time.
• Maintain an updated travel and logistics calendar for the Colombia office.
Compliance and Reporting
• Ensure all procurement and logistics activities comply with organizational policies, donor requirements, and local laws.
• Provide regular procurement and logistics reports to management.
• Monitor budget usage for procurement and travel-related expenses, highlighting potential risks or overspending.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement and logistics, preferably in the NGO or development sector.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and travel coordination.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in Spanish required; working knowledge of English is preferred.

Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations for the distribution centre in Colombia. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring exemplary coordination between customer care, logistics, warehousing and project management activities to deliver a superior customer experience guaranteeing cost-effective transportation, efficient lead time and optimal inventory management.
Core Responsibilities
Strategy design and execution
- Provide key supply chain inputs to the Operations business plans and participate in the design of the regional Supply Chain strategy and definition of related objectives
- Implement the crafted Supply Chain strategies, ensuring seamless alignment with the business and driving continuous improvement through diligent monitoring and optimization of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Function management
- Oversee crisis management and emergency response protocols, ensuring preparedness and effective mitigation of logistics and supply-related incidents
- Lead and mentor supply chain staff while managing the day-to-day interactions between the Customer Service, Transportation and Warehouse departments.
- Resolve complex or escalated customer issues by investigating complaints, coordinating with other departments, and finding appropriate solutions promptly.
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the organization and promote a positive brand image through exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders in line with the company´s strategy, targets and leadership principles.
- Execute inventory management strategies, optimizing cost-effective transportation and streamlining lead times while adhering to best practices for enhanced efficiency
- Collaborate in the Supply and Demand reviews of the Regional S&OP cycle.
- Play an active role in the development of the supply chain network, ensuring the sites comply to trade affairs regulations on import.
- Work in collaboration with IM&S on the selection and management of customs brokers.

- Execute the annual operating plan within approved budget
People management
- Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes within the local Supply Chain team and validate related results.
- Work with the Regional Supply Chain leadership team as well as HR Business Partner(s), in recruiting and developing a local talent pipeline
- Develop and promote local Supply Chain talents within and outside Operations at local and regional level.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams in a remote capacity, effectively navigating cultural nuances and time zone differences to drive collaboration and achieve organizational goals
Education / Primary Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline.
- MBA or Master's Degree in a Technical field is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and empower SCM teams to achieve exceptional results
- Languages: fluency in Spanish and English; other languages a plus
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Professional Experience

Technical Skills

About this opportunity
The Supply Chain Manager is a central part of the Align Technology LATAM strategy, being responsible for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize cash, cost and deliver superior service level to external and internal customers. In addition, play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors in all the region. This professional is responsible for planning and implementing activities related to the timely, cost-effective logistics, inventory control, lead time of product and service deliverables, as well as coordinating with global teams all necessary efforts to be the best in class service, cash, cost and innovation provider in LATAM market.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the IBP (Integrated Business Plan) process
- Govern the E2E of Supply Chain including managing closely Logistics provider to ensure adequate level of service and cost and cash, through a seamless operation
- Coordinate import/export process for the countries
- Management of Service Level of Distributors and Vendors (Logistic Operators)
- Coordinate internal projects of automatization and digitalization in Supply Chain. Focus on innovation in methods, ways of working, market tools
- Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
- Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
- Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory-carrying costs.
- Research and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods
- Guarantee monthly and quarterly shipments goals for the region in compliance with sanitary and customs regulation in every single market.
- Work closely with business, operational and functional leaders to develop and implement the most appropriate solutions for the region. Always soliciting feedback to ensure solutions match business needs;
- Integrates the "voice of the customer" into the supply chain organization;
- Work with global team members, as well as other regional leaders, to ensure that the process remains consistent and that we can better leverage our global scale while keeping regional priorities focused.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Computer Science or correlated; Post-graduation in correlated area is desirable;
- Spanish speaker - Be Fluent in English (mandatory) / Portuguese (Desirable)
- 6-10 years Supply Chain experience in a corporate/office environment in Colombia and/or Chile countries

Nuestro cliente es una empresa del sector de consumo (productos para el hogar y de aseo). Actualmente atraviesa un proceso de transformación operativa y busca fortalecer su estructura logística con un perfil que combine visión estratégica y ejecución.
Descripción- Supervisar de manera integral la cadena operativa local, asegurando el flujo eficiente de productos desde su origen hasta el cliente final.
- Gestionar y desarrollar un equipo logístico, con foco en la mejora del engagement y la productividad.
- Diseñar e implementar procesos operativos robustos, alineados a la estrategia del negocio.
- Coordinar la relación con aliados estratégicos y operadores externos, garantizando el cumplimiento de niveles de servicio.
- Analizar información operativa clave para tomar decisiones sobre capacidad, costos y desempeño.
- Participar en la elaboración y control del presupuesto del área.
- Profesional en Ingeniería, Administración o áreas afines.
- Mínimo 12 años de experiencia liderando operaciones logísticas end-to-end.
- Trayectoria en sectores como consumo masivo, retail o industrias de alto volumen y rotación.
- Experiencia comprobada en gestión de KPIs logísticos: nivel de servicio, OTIF, costos por unidad, entre otros.
- Capacidad para estructurar y optimizar procesos operativos.
- Experiencia en la gestión y desarrollo de equipos, especialmente en contextos de cambio o bajo engagement.
- Habilidad para relacionarse con operadores logísticos externos y coordinar actividades de transporte y almacenamiento.
- Perfil analítico, con foco en toma de decisiones basada en datos.
