Job Responsibilities

• Microservices & Back-End Development Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot, adhering to best practices and architectural guidelines
• Follow an API-first approach, ensuring all services are well-documented and adhere to OpenAPI specifications
• Implement and maintain shared libraries and components to streamline microservice development
• Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) to ensure robust identity management across services
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
• Provide technical support and guidance to product development teams on integrating shared microservices and identity management solutions

Front-End Development

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using Vue.js, ensuring seamless integration with back-end services
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components while following modern front-end best practices
• Work with API-driven front-end development, consuming RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces

Software Factory

• Contribute to the evolution of our common technical base, improving the Gradle catalog, shared libraries, bootstrap project, and standardized configurations to enhance the developer experience
• Improve and maintain our GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth integration and deployment processes
• Contribute to the creation and standardization of a common front-end pipeline, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects
• Work closely with DevOps teams to optimize containerized deployments (EKS, ArgoCD, Helm, Harbor) and enhance automation

• Strong experience in Java, Spring (SpringBoot), and Gradle (at least 3 years in java SpringBoot)
• Solid experience with Vue.js, TypeScript and front-end development (minimum 2 years in Typescript, 1 year in Vue.js)
• Strong expertise in API-first development, with hands-on experience designing and documenting APIs using OpenAPI specifications
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and system testing
• Solid understanding of GitLab CI/CD and DevOps automation
• Experience with containerization using Docker
• Experience with AWS services (RDS, S3, etc.)
• Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• B2 level minimum in written and spoken English

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role is fully remote and based in Latin America offering an opportunity to contribute to exciting projects with a long-term contractor position. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Contractor), you will develop advanced solutions using cutting-edge technologies, including cloud-based services, containerization, AI-driven features, adaptive process automation, and more. You are also curious and creative about new ways to build and operate software, especially leveraging AI technologies. We’re looking for a passionate and innovative developer eager to build and scale the next wave of Hyperproof’s capabilities. • Develop and design engaging user experiences using TypeScript and React, Java, C#; Go experience is also valuable.
• Design backend components, including REST APIs, queueing, storage systems, security layers (role-based access control, encryption), and more.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to understand customer needs and translate them into software solutions.
• Write secure, scalable, and compliant code that supports Hyperproof’s growth.

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, focusing on design and coding at a component level.

• Proficiency in frontend and backend technologies. We are looking for strong skills in both; typically 50/50 focus but some roles may be tilted one way or the other
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs using JSON and/or XML.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes to build and run containerized microservices
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure or similar) for deployment and debugging.
• Expertise in asynchronous programming and scalable software development.
• Understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the ability to work effectively in agile teams.
• Experience, knowledge and interest in accelerating the software development lifecycle using AI technologies, such as GitHub CoPilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other tools across the range of developer activities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and take ownership of projects.

• Hands-on experience integrating LLM-based features in production
• Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, fine-tuning, RAG, or model evaluation
• Familiarity with AI technologies such as open-source AI frameworks (Hugging Face, OpenAI API, etc.), vector search tools (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate), or Python
• TDD (Test Driven Development) and refactoring skills
• Experience structuring the code for testability to separate unit-testable logic and integration-testable boundary code
