What We’re Looking For
As an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Maverc you will provide full life cycle support for System Security Plans (SSPs) and ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes. You will contribute to the adoption of a Zero Trust security framework and apply security expertise to protect mission-critical systems. You will leverage tools such as LatteArt, ScanBoy, Biscotti, Sear and Exacta to identify, assess and mitigate vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with engineers, system owners and stakeholders to integrate security requirements and maintain a strong enterprise security posture.
What You'll Do
- Support the development, maintenance and updates of System Security Plans.
- Implement and reinforce Zero Trust principles across systems.
- Conduct security control assessments and risk analyses in accordance with RMF.
- Use tools such as LatteArt, Biscotti, ScanBoy, Sear and Exacta in day to day operations.
- Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Maintain complete and accurate security documentation.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure security is integrated into every phase of system design and operation.
This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance .

QualificationsWhat You’ll Need
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI+FSPClearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field
- DoD 8570 compliance at IAM Level I or higher.
- 5+ years of ISSO, cybersecurity or information assurance experience.
- Knowledge of RMF processes and demonstrated experience supporting SSPs.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and its application.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Position Overview:
The Information System Security Officer will support the implementation and maintenance of information assurance protocols. You will collaborate on developing, coordinating, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain operational security posture for information systems, ensuring policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
- Manage security aspects of information systems and perform daily security operations.
- Evaluate security solutions to meet requirements for processing classified information.
- Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments to support certification and accreditation.
- Manage configuration of security software, hardware, and firmware.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field with 12+ years of experience, or equivalent technical degree.
- At least 7+ years supporting DoD programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
Certifications:
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level II or IAT Level III (e.g., CASP, CISSP, or Associate).
Additional Requirements: Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
Salary Range: $155,000 - $210,000. Compensation is determined based on various factors including experience, education, and skills.

Profile: 2+ years of experience in digital project management, automation, industrial control systems, or similar roles in a manufacturing or operational setting.

You will:
+ Lead the development and execution of the Digital Master Plan, ensuring alignment with plant priorities and business goals.

Scotiabank’s Information Security & Control (IS&C)’s Global Identity and Access Management group is responsible for development, management and governance of Logical Access control to the Bank’s information systems. Privilege Access Management (PAM) is a unit in the Identity
and Access Management group that focuses on identification, management and governance of privileged access across Scotiabank and it’s subsidiaries. This role will primarily focus on PAM for Canadian Business Lines and LATAM countries.
The Information Security Analyst - PAM, will provide guidance primarily to Canadian and LATAM business lines in the operations and management of Privileged Accounts and access across all information systems in-line with the bank’s standard and policy. The successful
candidate will provide PAM Advisory services to support desks, infrastructure teams, technology partners and other Information security teams to maintain a strong security posture of the Bank.
