Job DescriptionAs a Big Data Developer, you will participate in the Regulatory and Compliance technology team.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Business application development (full software lifecycle: problem analysis, technical solution, solution design, development, testing and production upload).
- Communication with users to understand technological needs and provide strategic solutions.
- Code optimization and analysis: Threat modeling, exhaustive SAST, Sonar…
- Planning and execution of projects using Agile methodology.
- Managing the different internal tools to document ALM in all phases of the projects.
- Support for incidents, including planned interventions.
- Execution of unit, integrated and regression tests.
- Managing the tools to promote the releases.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications, Mathematics or related studies.
- + 3 years experience as Big Data Developer.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.

As a Big Data Developer , you will participate in the design of the solutions and software to cover the required functionalities. Big Data & Analytics is the data consulting and engineering arm of our Center of Excellence. IF YOU ARE
- Experienced in SQL and Python, with a track record of successfully delivering data integration projects
- Comfortable working primarily in DBT, while using PySpark to support deeper architectural and transformation logic
- Skilled in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices
- Experienced with DBT macros (must have) and Jinja templating, and able to apply them to build reusable and scalable transformations
- Confident in Databricks as a compute and storage platform
- Skilled in stakeholder management to identify both high-tech and low-tech solutions and choose the solution appropriate to the problem
- Confident in owning data integration workflows from end to end, with a mindset of continuous improvement and optimization
- A proficient upper-intermediate English speaker
- Write production code to implement fast, reliable, scalable data pipelines in SQL (using DBT) and Python/PySpark
- Process billions of historical data points collected from tens of thousands of retail stores across the US
- Deploy, scale, and maintain our ETL pipelines that power our recommendation engine and ordering system
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients to gather integration requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of data needs to design integration specifications
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency by implementing robust quality checks and validation processes
- Develop and maintain automated monitoring systems to detect and address data anomalies proactively
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration or data issues, performing root cause analysis and working with internal stakeholders to communicate customer data fixes required, or finding novel workarounds to extract the signal we need from the data we have
- Identify and implement impactful projects aimed at accelerating velocity and minimizing effort for integrations and their associated tools and processes
- Address different business and technology challenges, engage in impactful projects, use top-notch technologies, and drive multiple initiatives as a part of the Center of Excellence
- Support your technical and personal growth, as we have a dedicated career plan for all roles in our company

**Formación académica**: profesional en ingeniería de sistemas, electrónica, eléctrica, telecomunicaciones, industrial o carreras afines.
**Experiência**: 2 años como arquitecto de big data + ia.
**Misión del cargo**:
- Diseñar e implementar soluciones de big data e inteligencia artificial para soportar iniciativas estratégicas de la compañía.
**Funciones específicas**:
- Diseñar e implementar soluciones de big data.
- Diseñar e implementar soluciones de inteligencia artificial basada en los datos.
- Diseñar e implementar soluciones de inteligencia de negocios (bi).
- Apoyar y direccionar la codificación y diseño de soluciones de gestión de datos.
- Crear soluciones que den respuesta a las necesidades técnicas de análisis de big data.
**Conocimientos técnicos**:
- Python usando pyspark, sqlspark.
- Res tful api, o data.
- Azure synapse analytics (sql pool, spark pool), azure (cdn, key vault, api management, data factory, aks y app services, storage account, data bricks, data explorer, data fabric, data factory).
Sql server, azure dev ops (repos y pipelines), implementación pruebas unitarias, uso de herramientas para ---análisis de código estático y seguro.
- Experiência en metodología scrum.
- Conocimientos deseables: servicios cognitivos (azure, aws, gcp), servicios de exploración y presentación de datos, plataformas de autoservicio de inteligencia de negocios.
**Tipo de contrato**: Indefinido.

**Horarios**: Lunes a viernes, 9 horas, teletrabajo,(con disponibilidad para viajar a demanda del cliente).
