You’ll ensure that systems, platforms, and processes align with business and stakeholder goals, scale effectively, and remain secure and resilient. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, guiding cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives, and incorporating new technologies, such as GenAI. This role will also work closely with various engineering teams across organizations, providing best practices, architectures, and engineering judgments – by “leading by example”.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap across business, application, data, and technology domains.
  • Align IT strategy with business objectives, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Lead architecture reviews and provide oversight for major technology initiatives and digital transformation programs, including AI-augmented solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies that support innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and engineering teams to define architectural standards and governance models.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements across all systems.
  • Mentor solution architects, software architects, and technical leads, fostering architectural consistency and excellence.
  • Drive modernization efforts including GenAI integration, cloud migrations, API strategies, and platform consolidation.
  • Define and enforce enterprise-wide standards, patterns, and reusable components.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale systems in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, APIs, data architecture, GenAI, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Strong ability to work with development teams to design and review solutions as needed. Can work with teams down to the code implementation level.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI to efficiently solution, generate designs, prototypes, proofs of concept, create implementations, generate tests and documentation, and accelerate deliveries.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for all leadership levels.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on technical depth.
Technical Skills
  • Architecture & Design: System and application architecture, microservices and API design, Cloud-native architecture (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), integration patterns and middleware
  • Software Engineering: Proficiency in languages and stacks like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript; SDLC and practices; familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines; and source control management (SCM) systems.
