**Job Description**
**AECOM** is currently seeking a **Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead** to support the Latin American region.
The Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead focuses on strategic business development, possessing a solid track record in the design, deployment, and operation of critical infrastructure (ports, airports, and logistics hubs). The ideal candidate must combine an advanced technical vision in operational safety and cybersecurity (IT/OT)-enabling the movement or inspection of goods for dispatch-with the ability to identify new market opportunities, translating complex client needs and industry technology trends into compelling commercial proposals, robust protection architectures, and technical procurement specifications.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
**Business Development**
+ Lead the identification, maturation, and capture of new business opportunities in the critical infrastructure sector (ports, airports, and logistics hubs) in Latin America, translating complex client needs into technical cybersecurity and physical security (IT/OT) proposals.
+ Act as AECOM's technical point of contact in the region for cargo transport security solutions, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and technology partners within the logistics ecosystem.
**IT (Information Technology)**
Traditional IT systems:
+ Corporate networks (LAN/WAN)
+ Servers and databases
+ Enterprise systems (ERP, email, cloud)
+ Information management
+ Define comprehensive security architectures for complex environments (IT/OT).
**OT (Operational Technology)**
Systems that control physical processes and infrastructure:

**Core Responsibilities**
+ Establish and validate technical criteria, specifications, and standards for security projects.
+ Prepare technical documents and specifications for procurement processes.
+ Participate in the development and implementation of security-related information systems.
+ Manage and analyze logs in high-volume, highly complex environments.
+ Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
+ Evaluate emerging technologies and their applicability to security projects.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or academic training.
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in security and/or cybersecurity within operations or business development for critical infrastructure (ports, airports, and logistics hubs).
+ **Project Track Record:** Experience in at least 2 projects involving participation in:
+ Design and deployment of infrastructure as well as security and cybersecurity solutions in critical infrastructure operations (ports, airports, and logistics hubs).
+ Implementation or management of monitoring and log management systems in complex environments.
+ Project development and/or information systems.
+ **Knowledge Base:**
+ Security architectures (IT/OT, networks, surveillance systems, access control, etc.).
+ International security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC, among others).
+ Critical infrastructure protection technologies.
+ **Skills:** Ability to develop technical specifications and procurement documents.
+ **Language:** Advanced English (spoken and written).
**Preferred Requirements**
+ Specialization or certifications in cybersecurity or information security is highly desirable.
+ Experience in passenger and/or cargo operation environments is preferred.

+ **Experience:** Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in security and/or cybersecurity within operations or business development for critical infrastructure (ports, airports, and logistics hubs).
+ **Project Track Record:** Experience in at least 2 projects involving participation in:
+ Design and deployment of infrastructure as well as security and cybersecurity solutions in critical infrastructure operations (ports, airports, and logistics hubs).
+ Implementation or management of monitoring and log management systems in complex environments.
+ Project development and/or information systems.
+ **Knowledge Base:**
+ Security architectures (IT/OT, networks, surveillance systems, access control, etc.).
+ International security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC, among others).
+ Critical infrastructure protection technologies.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ BIM Implementation Execution - execute the BIM Implementation strategy on complex international projects.
+ CDE Admin - provide CDE administration to project teams, manage permissions, complete model-setup in Autodesk Forma and ProjectWise

+ Scan-to-BIM - integrate Point Clouds in the project's federated model dataset and implement the Scan-to-BIM workflow.

+ Experience working and administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or Bentley ProjectWise

Location: Bogota, Colombia
Duration: 6 months up to 2 years
Target Start Date: August/September 2026
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Support operational excellence across the Digital Solution Advisory organization.
+ Analyze business and operational KPIs to help identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
+ Leverage AI tools to automate analysis, summarize insights and accelerate decision-making.
+ Create dashboards, reports and visualizations that enable better business decisions.
+ Help improve internal processes through automation and AI-assisted workflows.
+ Coordinate and support strategic team initiatives, enablement activities and operational projects.
+ Collaborate with Solution Advisors to prepare customer-facing materials, business cases and presentations.
+ Bring new ideas that simplify the team's work and improve productivity through innovative thinking.
+ Continuously learn SAP Business AI, Business Suite and business transformation concepts while progressively increasing your contribution to customer engagements.
