As part of the cybersecurity operations team, you will play a key role in defining cloud security architecture, requirements, and solutions across customer environments - ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant cloud implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Designing Secure Cloud Architectures: Selecting appropriate cloud services, configuring security settings, and implementing measures to minimize risk.
• Implementing Security Controls: Deploying encryption, identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, and other controls to prevent data breaches and unauthorized access.
• Automating Security Operations: Utilizing scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate security tasks and improve efficiency.
• Monitoring and Responding to Security Incidents: Continuously monitoring cloud environments for threats, investigating security incidents, and responding to security breaches. Collaborating with the SOC team.
• Ensuring Compliance: Conducting regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability management to ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies. Develop and maintain security documentation, procedures, and guidelines.
  
  

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or other related areas.
• 7+ years of IT-related experience.
• Good knowledge of and commercial experience with GCP cloud. Experience in preparing architectural designs and solutions for GCP.
• Advanced understanding of GCP security-related services (e.g., IAM, Cloud Armor, Security Command Center, and others)
• Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends and industry.
• Understanding of standard security practices, like incident management, vulnerability management, etc.
• Experience in incident response.
• Good Network and Network Security knowledge.
• Experience in automation, DevOps type of experience would be an advantage.
• Understanding of security best practices, tooling (such as SIEM, VM), and common standards.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in Information Security and/or IT Security
• 3-4 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills:

• Proven background and extensive knowledge in certificates, network engineering (LAN, WAN, WLAN), technical security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.), and security incident management
• In-depth knowledge of patch and vulnerability management, threat analysis, risk assessments
• Knowledge in other areas (e.g., ISO/IEC 270xx, cloud security, mobile security, auditing, penetration testing) is a plus
• Experience in creating security documents (policies, etc.), project work, and ideally project management
