ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
The Cloud Solutions Engineer is responsible for managing the delivery and support of Ingenico solutions to customers and partners: Terminal Estate Manager (TEM), Manage 360 (M360), and On-Guard.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Solution Design - Gather requirements from customers subscribing to Ingenico’s cloud-based services through interactions with technical and non-technical teams within Ingenico as well as external to Ingenico.
- Participate in solution designs according to the business rules and requirements. Elaborate technical documents to scope the solutions to deliver to the customer.
- Device Management Solution Support - On-Premises installation of Terminal Estate Manager (TEM) solution for clients procuring the Licensed versions of the application. Such installations require varied experience with backend technology options, including Networking, Operating Systems, Databases, Network File Systems, and customer-specific implementations. Provide support to clients across NAR region.
- Solution, design, develop, and maintain customizations for both Ingenico-hosted and client-hosted installations of the applications to augment feature functionalities that are not available with the base product.
- Provide ongoing support for Hosted and Licensed installations – version upgrades, troubleshooting, configuration, and onboarding, including the interaction between terminal applications and customizations.
- Running billing and other ad hoc reports from TEM.
- Defining TEM campaigns for RKI (Remote Key Injection) operations.
- Run bulk onboarding of devices through Merchant Boarding Tool Interface (MBTI).
- Provide TEM, M360 overview, training, and walkthroughs for clients and internal teams.
- Provision, update, delete, and maintain all Virtual Machines and cloud infrastructure (load balancers, firewalls, network segments) used on Google Cloud (GCP) infrastructure for TEM, M360.
- Manage ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, etc.) for advanced features of TEM.
- Manage cloud databases: backup, cleanup, and monitor health and capacity on GCP platform.
- Write shell scripts for various functionalities and custom components.
- Manage SQL reports for specific customer requirements.
- Manage Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Manage NFS repositories.
- Design and execute testing with support teams to ensure custom solutions function properly.

We are hiring an Cloud Solutions Architect in our Alliances team to help our biggest partners (companies like Intel, Nvidia, Google, Dell, HP, Accenture, Tata and the like) understand and embrace our open source platform for themselves and their customers.
Our worldwide field engineering team apply expert insights to real-world customer problems, enabling the enterprise adoption of Ubuntu, OpenStack, Kubernetes, AI/MLOps and a wide range of associated technologies. We are experts in the whole open source stack, from kernel to desktop, from cloud to the edge. Our team is also interested in business problems - building things reliably, efficiently and cost-effectively, and we have to learn to speak the language of our customers and their industries.
We help global companies embrace public and private cloud infrastructure, cloud native operations, and open source applications. For this team we are looking for several Alliances Engineers to support OEM (hardware manufacturers), GSI (global system integrators), ISV (independent software vendors), Channel partners and Public Cloud alliance partners. You will support various alliances and partners of Canonical to adopt our products and technologies, help business leaders to define joint go-to-market programs with partners from the technical standpoint.
We often say that our field engineers have 'the hardest job at Canonical' because customers can ask about any aspect of our solutions and products and expect a thoughtful, well-informed answer. We always want to do the best thing for our partners and customers, regardless of our company interests, and field engineers are the people we trust to ensure that is true.
Location : This is a home-based role, we are hiring worldwide.
What your day will look like
- Understand Ubuntu, Linux, networking and services in real-world environments
- Architect cloud infrastructure solutions like Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, Ceph, and Spark either On-Premises or in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Architect and integrate popular open source software such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Cassandra and NGINX
- Help partners to offer and architect joint solutions utilizing Canonical's technologies on top of the public clouds and in the data center
- Design and publish joint Reference Architectures and perform technical validations with various partners
- Prepare and run onboarding sessions/workshops with various partners' teams to promote Canonical products and solutions
What we are looking for in you
- Extensive experience with Linux (Ubuntu preferred), Kubernetes, Ceph, software automation
- Experience designing and implementing solutions on top of public or private clouds
- Python and bash understanding, troubleshooting skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High motivation, ability to multi-task and follow-up reliably on commitments
- Interest in customer-facing engagement, including pitching, demonstrating and understanding customer environment and needs
- Interest in new technologies like LXD, Juju and Snaps
- Ability to travel globally up to 30% of the time
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related technical field experience

As a Cloud Infrastructure Manager , you will lead the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of our client’s cloud and DevOps capabilities within a large-scale platform engineering initiative . You will be responsible for guiding technical teams in designing, securing, and automating infrastructure across multi-cloud environments . This role blends hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities—driving best practices in DevSecOps , ensuring compliance through Infrastructure as Code , and enabling operational excellence through robust CI/CD pipelines . You will work closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders across globally distributed teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions that directly support a multi-year digital transformation.
Your Impact
- Lead the evolution of enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines by embedding security-first principles across all stages of the software delivery lifecycle
- Architect and oversee the provisioning of cloud-native tools to automate Ops, enhance scalability, and reduce manual overhead
- Ensure infrastructure consistency, compliance, and traceability by driving adoption of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Champion the implementation of DevOps practices
- Collaborate closely with solution architects, DevOps engineers, and Agile delivery teams to embed security and performance from inception to deployment
- Define, track, and communicate DevOps KPIs to measure adoption, impact, and areas for continuous improvement
- Serve as a technical leader and change agent, driving a culture of automation, security, and operational excellence across product teams
- Own the strategic optimization of infrastructure performance and security across multi-cloud environments, leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and ArgoCD
- Contribute to and influence platform engineering strategy, supporting cross-functional alignment and long-term innovation initiatives
- Act as a subject mater expert in all thing Cloud Engineering architecture
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or mentorship capacity
- Strong communication skills in English (C1+ level), with the ability to interface directly with stakeholders, clients, and globally distributed teams
- Deep experience in securing CI/CD pipelines, including the integration of policy-as-code and vulnerability management tools
- Hands-on mastery of Terraform, Azure ADO, and ArgoCD, with a focus on scalable automation and compliance
- Demonstrated ability to define and report on DevOps metrics and KPIs tied to risk reduction, velocity, and reliability
- Experience influencing and collaborating with cloud architects, security leads, and Agile squads
- A growth mindset with the ability to mentor engineers and evangelize best practices across teams and regions
- Proven success managing or operating in multi-cloud environments, especially with Azure and GCP
- Experience delivering results in enterprise-scale Agile organizations with 50+ teams

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in hands-on cloud enterprise architecture design, storage , virtualization and networking solutions, with AWS expertise preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases and serverless technologies.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages.

EdgeUno is seeking a highly experienced and technically accomplishedCloud Infrastructure & Operations Manager to lead the strategy, design, and operational excellence of our internal cloud platform and the cloud service offering to our clients. With over two decades of infrastructure, cloud, and telecom expertise, this leader will drive innovation and stability across our service delivery stack, including VPC, bare metal, virtualization, orchestration, and cloud automation technologies.
At EdgeUno, weown and operate our own cloud infrastructure , which powers mission-critical services for us and several clients across Latin America. Unlike third-party providers, our platform is custom-built for performance, redundancy, and scale. As Cloud Infrastructure & Operations Manager, you’ll be at the helm of an elite technical team that enables this platform for both internal product teams and external customers, including ISPs, global enterprises, and digital platforms.
Core Responsibilities
Department Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the Cloud Infrastructure & Operations department, overseeing all technical, operational, and strategic initiatives related to the company’s private cloud services.
- Define and execute multi-year roadmaps for infrastructure scalability, AI adoption, automation, and service availability across multiple data centers and regions.
- Mentor and manage senior engineers and architects across compute, storage, virtualization, and network domains.
Cloud Platform Architecture
- Own the architecture and lifecycle of EdgeUno’s internal cloud, includingvirtual private cloud (VPC), bare metal compute, container infrastructure, and orchestration layers.
- Ensure seamless integration and operation of platforms such asProxmox,VMware, and other virtualization technologies.
- Define infrastructure blueprints and design principles to support PaaS, and HaaS products as well as IaaS offerings for clients.
Service Delivery & Client Enablement
- Support product, pre-sales, and service delivery forcloud customers, including ISPs, managed service providers, and enterprise clients across the region.
- Collaborate with the Product and Commercial teams to create and maintain productized cloud offerings built on internal infrastructure.
- Ensure interoperability, SLA compliance, billing integration (e.g., WHMCS), and customer lifecycle management capabilities.
Infrastructure Operations & Automation
- Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations, ensuring performance, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery readiness across all systems and data centers.
- Promote Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and drive automation for provisioning, scaling, patching, and monitoring environments.
- Establish standardized configuration and observability frameworks using modern tooling stacks.
Data Center & Network Coordination
- Work closely with the Networking and Systems teams to optimize datacenter usage, cross-connects, regional failover, and capacity management.
- Participate in planning for new PoPs, hardware upgrades, and international expansion initiatives.
Compliance, Security & Governance
- Partner with Security and Compliance teams to ensure cloud operations are aligned with standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Implement access control, segmentation, backup, and audit procedures in compliance with internal and customer policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 20+ years of experience in infrastructure, telecom, or cloud operations, with at least10+ years in a senior leadership role .
- Deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization stacks (Proxmox, VMware), orchestration layers, and public/private cloud models (SaaS, PaaS, HaaS, IaaS).
- Proven experience operating hybrid cloud or private cloud infrastructure at scale, including VPC architectures and bare metal provisioning.
- Understanding of service provider ecosystems and B2B cloud offerings.
- Hands-on familiarity with tooling such asAnsible ,Terraform ,Prometheus/Grafana ,WHMCS ,LibreNMS , and related.
- Experience with automation, monitoring, containerization (Docker/K8s), and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to communicate technical concepts to clients and executives alike.
- Fluent inEnglish and Portugues ;Spanish is a plus.
- Previous experience in telecom, hosting, datacenter , or infrastructure service providers is a plus
