We're scaling our global digital platforms and are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure & Reliability Engineer (DBA) to help us build resilient, automated, and high-performing cloud systems. If you're passionate about AWS, automation, and database reliability — this role is for you
Location: Bogota, Colombia (Remote)
Type: 12 months | long-term contract
What You'll Do
- Manage & optimize AWS-hosted databases
(PostgreSQL, Couchbase, SQL Server). - Automate infra with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Python/Shell).
- Drive reliability best practices (SLOs, observability, runbooks, incident response).
- Collaborate across cloud, app, and security teams to boost resilience & performance.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years in Database administration (DBA)
Cloud Infra / DevOps / SRE roles (AWS focus). - Strong DB experience —
Couchbase (must-have), PostgreSQL, SQL Server. - Terraform / CloudFormation + scripting (Python or Shell).
- Familiarity with observability (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
Nice-to-Haves
- Aurora PostgreSQL, Couchbase clusters, AWS RDS
- Kubernetes (EKS) or Serverless (Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge)

We are seeking an experienced
IT Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Engineer
to join our global team. In this role, you will act as the
liaison between cloud architects, regional/local IT teams, and business stakeholders
. You will play a key role in helping application teams modernize their systems for
cloud-based deployments and modern authentication
.
Responsibilities
- Configure and install servers and software in complex IT environments.
- Monitor and manage server, storage, and network performance.
- Respond to infrastructure alarms and incidents with speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with server, storage, workstation, and application teams, with strong emphasis on
security compliance
. - Maintain accurate documentation, processes, and procedures.
- Support and monitor
Office365, Teams, and SharePoint
environments. - Provide management reporting on infrastructure and performance.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement across IT operations.
Key Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven hands-on experience
in enterprise IT environments (or 5 years equivalent in a network-specific role). - Strong knowledge of IT services and their relationships in complex infrastructures.
- Proficiency in
Linux/Windows administration and scripting (DSC preferred)
. - Hands-on experience with
AWS operations and infrastructure
. - Expertise with
Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
. - Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (DataDog, Icinga, Nagios).
- Knowledge of
Identity & Access Management (Azure AD)
. - Automation skills with
Terraform, Ansible, Helm, DSC, Azure DevOps
. - CheckPoint Firewall management
and solid networking expertise. - Experience with software packaging and distribution.
- GitOps practitioner mindset
. - Advanced level of
English
(written and spoken).
Preferred Background
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (with 2+ years experience).
- Associate degree (with 3+ years experience).
