Job Description
As a Supervisor BPO , you will lead and mentor a team of Customer Service Representatives, driving performance through coaching, monitoring, and process improvements. You’ll collaborate with leadership to implement strategies, optimize workflows, and ensure exceptional customer experiences in the digital insurance space.
Job Overview
Employment type: Indefinite term type contract
Shift: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM EST

The Qualifications We Seek
Experience:
- 2+ years of successful experience in a customer service management role within a contact center .
- Prior BPO experience servicing US-based customers is a plus, but not mandatory.
Skills:
- Fluent in English – Full Professional level
- Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate team members.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in interpreting data from call center reports, analytics dashboards, and other sources to identify performance trends.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for personnel and process improvement, with the ability to formulate and implement action plans.
Preferred Background
- Experience conducting coaching sessions and one-on-one processes.
- Experience with real-time monitoring processes.
- Experience managing weekly call reviews for each team member.
Your Daily Tasks
Team Leadership & Development:
- Mentor CSRs, supporting both their professional and personal growth.
- Lead team meetings and conduct developmental exercises.
- Conduct coaching and customer service/advocacy sessions to enhance professional skills.
- Facilitate weekly call reviews and monthly one-on-one sessions with each team member.
Performance Management & Accountability:
- Ensure CSRs meet departmental performance metrics through shadowing, active call monitoring, and coaching.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement through investigation.
Operational Excellence:
- Work closely with the Matic Customer Service Leadership Team to refine processes and implement new initiatives.
- Provide daily and real-time monitoring of work queues and schedules to optimize capacity and improve customer outcomes.
Hiring:
- Conduct interviews for new CSRs at your assigned location.

Let’s start with the role
The BPO Operations Manager is responsible for providing a productive and motivating working environment. They follow and implement the general strategy within the Team, leading and focusing on people development, team morale and performance, and the overall operation and function of the department.
As a BPO Operations Manager, you will:
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager/Head in accomplishing the overall goals of the division;
- Create strategic plans, set long-term, medium-term, and short-term goals, and turn new ideas into projects;
- Monitor BPO providers and deliverables;
- Allocate projects and monitor progress, provide advice, and assist when needed;
- Analyze, evaluate, and report on the overall results of the internal and outsourced operations (quantitative and qualitative metrics);
- Collaborate with team leaders to ensure the smooth internal and external operations;
- Monitor performance and needs of direct reports and overall performance of the department;
- Be responsible for recruiting needs and processes;
- Collaborate with the QC team in regards of the qualitative reports (agents/department evolution according to the KPIs);
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Back Office, WFM, Training, among other internal teams, to guarantee delivery according to the KPIs;
- Be updated regarding the customer service trends, tools, and practices.
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant position in customer service management;
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Methodology is desirable;
- Passion about customer service, with a data-driven approach and the ability to succeed in a dynamic environment;
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivation, autonomy in decision making, quick reaction to sudden incidents, efficiency, flexibility;
- Excellent command of the English language (at least C1 level), both written and spoken;
- Availability to travel as the role requires occasional face-to-face meetings with colleagues or to visit partners and/or third parties.

You’ve spent the last 3–5 years recruiting agents, sales reps, and front-line customer service staff for call centers across LATAM or globally.
You’ve owned weekly KPIs like 30–50 agent hires per week, and delivered.
You’re lightning-fast, organized, and thrive in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.
You’re obsessed with speed, quality, and candidate experience—all at once.
You have direct experience communicating with clients to understand hiring needs, provide candidate updates, and ensure alignment on recruitment goals.
Source, screen, and assess candidates for BPO and call center roles (sales agents, CSRs, appointment setters, etc.).
Manage large candidate pipelines and conduct high-volume screening to meet weekly hiring targets.
Run fast-paced discovery calls , evaluating communication, aptitude, technical requirements, soft skills, and English proficiency for global client standards.

3–5 years of proven high-volume recruitment experience in BPO /call center /sales agent /CS roles —no exceptions.
Strong knowledge of the LATAM and African markets .
Experience working in fast-paced recruitment environments with high pressure and weekly targets.
Excellent time management and organizational skills —you know how to juggle 100+ candidates and still hit your numbers.
Strong candidate assessment skills —you know how to spot a top-performing agent within minutes.
Familiarity with ATS platforms , bulk outreach tools, and high-volume recruitment workflows.
Native-level or near-native English proficiency.
Self-motivated, high-energy, and proactive personality.
Comfortable working fully remote, independently, and under tight deadlines.
Proven experience communicating with clients in a recruitment setting—understanding requirements, reporting progress, and ensuring service delivery expectations are met.
Experience hiring for appointment setting , outbound sales , or English-speaking offshore call center roles.
Familiarity with remote recruitment best practices for LATAM and international call center markets.
Experience working with Ashby ATS.

Familiarity with ATS platforms , bulk outreach tools, and high-volume recruitment workflows.
Native-level or near-native English proficiency.
Self-motivated, high-energy, and proactive personality.
Comfortable working fully remote, independently, and under tight deadlines.
Proven experience communicating with clients in a recruitment setting—understanding requirements, reporting progress, and ensuring service delivery expectations are met.
Experience hiring for appointment setting , outbound sales , or English-speaking offshore call center roles.
Familiarity with remote recruitment best practices for LATAM and international call center markets.
Experience working with Ashby ATS.
