Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated hiring salary is $130,000 - $145,000 per year and is competitive and negotiable depending on the strength of qualifications. This is a CSU Management Personnel Plan (MPP) position.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Senior Director of Networks, Unified Communications, and Learning Spaces, provides strategic leadership and oversight for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the University’s network, communications, and classroom technology infrastructure. This role is responsible for aligning technology operations with institutional goals, ensuring resilient and innovative solutions that enable excellence in teaching, learning, and research.

The Senior Director leads and manages the Network Engineering, Field Operations, Classroom Video Services, and Unified Communications teams. These teams design, implement, and sustain the University’s wired and wireless networks, low-voltage and fiber-optic cabling systems, classroom technology installations, and the enterprise Zoom Phone platform.

Key Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of the issues related to successfully managing wired and wireless networks, computer servers, storage and infrastructure applications.
  • Thorough knowledge of the issues related to successfully implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining low-voltage and fiber-optic cabling, inside and outside plant fiber-optic and copper infrastructure including knowledge of relevant standards.
  • Working knowledge of the issues related to successfully designing, implementing and maintaining classroom technology and video environments.
  • Working knowledge of the issues related to successfully implementing and maintaining telecom systems and services including VoIP, ACD and voicemail.
  • General knowledge of one or more of the following: end-user computing support for desktops, laptops and mobile devices, specialized computing support for college or division-specific IT services, Help Desk/Service Management, Information Systems/Business Applications, Network Engineering, Server/Storage Infrastructure and IT security.
  • Direct experience and strong skills in budget preparation and management including estimates, billing, chargeback and cost recovery.
  • Experience in procurement, vendor relationships and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to compile, write and present reports and other communications and develop business cases and negotiate contracts.
  • Ability to perform systems and applications needs analysis, prepare requests for proposals and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Ability to work effectively with the technology team and all units within the university and the general public from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to engage with different levels including relationship building with the facility management team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and proactive, customer-focused attitude.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a relevant field.
  • Five years' experience managing staff responsible for installation and maintenance of low-voltage wiring, fiber-optic cable, and wired and wireless network electronics.
  • Five years' experience planning and managing network/telecom projects including staff and materials requirements, schedules, budgets, priorities, communication and training for support staff and end users.
  • Three years’ experience providing leadership for network engineers.

Job Summary

The Director of the Richter Center reports directly to the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. This reporting structure reflects the academic nature of Richter Center programs and the fact that the Center's programs serve the entire campus.

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the Center, including the leadership of community engagement and service-learning initiatives and opportunities designed to expand the quality and quantity of these initiatives. Other duties include policy research, analysis, marketing and public relations, and reporting on program and university-wide initiatives. The incumbent determines appropriate methods, policies, and procedures to achieve programmatic goals; leads event planning and coordination efforts; ensures compliance with applicable regulations or requirements governing the program; and serves as liaison to outside agencies or entities related to assigned programs.

Job Summary

This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and is a member of Accounting Services. Accounting Services is under the Division of Finance and Administration, which reports to the Chief Financial Officer. Under the general supervision of the Accounting Manager, the incumbent selected will be responsible for knowing all Accounts Receivable processing procedures and related regulations, policies and procedures, including but not limited to calculating correct billings for customers including discounts, sales and use taxes, and other billable charges; as well as preparing documents and accurately coding and inputting them into a computerized accounting system; applying independent judgment to correct errors which may occur; and performing other duties as assigned. The incumbent will also provide support to various areas within the accounts payable unit.

Incumbents in this classification have the training and experience required to independently perform most of the skilled work of the Accounting Technician Series. This is the journey-level of this series. Positions of this classification require a thorough knowledge and understanding of financial record-keeping methods and practices. The Accounting Technician performs diverse duties involving a wide range of procedures. Incumbents are required to use initiative and judgment in analyzing information and determining a course of action within the specifications of standard practice and established guidelines. Work is usually performed without direct verification or check. Incumbents communicate established university policies and procedures to faculty, staff and the general public, obtaining clarification from others when more extensive interpretation is required; review data for accuracy and completeness and make correcting entries; maintain accounting of financial aid records; receive and disburse monies; prepare billings and past due notices; place holds, assess late fees, and process cancellations; post information to journals, registers, and ledgers; analyze and record transactions for write-off; assemble and compile data used in the generation of financial reports and/or analysis; balance and reconcile assigned accounts; create and maintain spreadsheets, including entering, revising, sorting, calculating and creating tables; modify, run and export queries; review and recommend content updates to web pages; assist with the modification and documentation of established procedures based on precedent and university policies; enter codes and data into the computer and review computer reports for accuracy; and participate in the testing of financial software for upgrades and implementations as related to the position including such activities as testing transaction/data entry and data output.

Role:
  • Provide basic housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms

Job Description:

Job Duties

  • Provide biblically-based preaching and teaching through the following avenues:
    • Sunday worship, special worship such as baptisms, weddings, funeral services, etc.
    • Leading spiritual formation routine (e.g. Bible study)
    • Special events such as retreats, etc.
  • Disciple, equip, and raise up pastoral staff, lay leaders, and volunteers for the work of ministry
  • Participate as an active member in a House Church
  • Prayerfully shepherd and adapt the church towards God’s vision
  • Moderate and lead EM meetings as necessary
    • Leadership meetings
    • House Church leaders meeting, etc.
  • Provide spiritual support, whether through encouragement or rebuke, for the members of EM.
  • Provide pastoral care (visitations, hospital visits, counseling, etc.) to EM as needed.
  • Collaborate with other leaders for special events such as annual retreats, revival meetings, etc.
  • Maintain good communication and rapport with KPCF pastoral and lay leadership.
  • Keep a minimum of 30 at-office-hours/week (exception of special pastoral occasions such as hospital visitation under the supervision of senior pastor)
  • Annual compensation range for full-time position depending on experience

Position Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited seminary (provide copy of M.Div.)
  • Ordained in a presbytery
  • Minimum of 3 years of pastoral experience
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Passionate about growing an ethnically diverse and intergenerational church body
  • Heart for sharing the gospel
  • Familiarity (or willingness to familiarize self) with the House Church model

Valley of Grace is the English Ministry of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Fresno (KPCF), located in Fresno, CA. Our congregation is a multi-ethnic, intergenerational church whose mission is to raise up Spirit-led disciples of Jesus, empowered by the gospel, who live missionally by planting house churches in the Valley. The average age ranges from college students to young families. Our strength in ministry is making disciples and modeling life with Christ through House Church (Acts 2:46-47 ). We are looking to welcome a full-time English Ministry Lead Pastor who will faithfully shepherd our church toward God’s vision, help our church grow dynamically in diversity, and shepherd the growth of our House Church ministry.
