Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This position requires a strong commitment to infection control and the ability to work effectively within a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
- Perform medical imaging procedures as needed.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
- Review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records.
- Measure and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and general dentistry practices.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene and anatomy knowledge.
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on comfort and education.
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and practices.
- Ability to conduct thorough documentation reviews for accuracy.
- Competence in measuring vital signs and conducting patient assessments.
- Solid understanding of general dentistry principles and practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy as it relates to dental health.

Our hours are Mon - Thu 8:00 - 5:00; we are happy to have both full or part time applicants (benefits are only for full-time).
